Versatile, Durable, Beautiful . . .
Ferns grow naturally from the equator to Alaska. They are equally at home in and around your house. We invite you to browse these pages. If you are attracted to a fern that isn't available at your local garden center, please tell them about our web site and ask them to contact us for help in locating a particular fern for you.
In the plant list below we've included the
plant's zone rating for your convenience. The "zone" number given to
a plant refers to a universal system that describes the coldest
zones or areas in which a plant can normally succeed (cold hardiness
rating). In addition, there is a hint system
provided that tells you whether a fern will do best on the
porch, in the garden, or in the home.
