Ferns grow naturally from the tip of South America to Alaska. Many do very
well in residential and commercial landscapes and as interior-scape plantings.
We invite you to browse these fern description pages. Santa Rosa Tropicals has
all of these varieties available for sale to commercial nurseries.
If you are attracted to a fern for home use that isn't available at your
local garden center, please tell them about our web site and ask them to

In the thumbnail sketches below we've included the plant's zone rating for convenience. The "zone" number given to a plant refers to a universal system that describes the coldest zones or areas of the country in which a plant can normally survive outdoor conditions.

This fern is native to Australia and unusually versatile in habit. It is excellent in baskets as well as a superb fern for filling in an area in the garden.
